Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic Acupuncture offers a non-toxic method for skin restoration and facial rejuvenation. It offers an unintrusive alternative to plastic surgery as well as an effective procedure preceding plastic surgery to maximize the outcome and post-surgery to speed up recovery and maintenance. It is also very effective as a quick 30-minute mini-facial to bring radiance back after a hard day of work. There are no scars and it isn’t painful. Very fine needles are inserted into pressure points on the face increasing blood flow and Qi.
To have a face-lift by acupuncture, about 12 treatments are required. Response to treatment depends on one’s health and age. Most people experience a noticeable reduction in wrinkles and increased elasticity after only 4-5 treatments. Annual ‘boosters’ help delay the aging process of the skin. A facelift by acupuncture is not recommended for those with hypertension, which should be treated first.
