How Hypnotherapy Works…

Hypnosis is believed to alter our state of consciousness.  While in a trance-like condition the patient goes into a state of deep relaxation while focusing on the hypnotist’s voice, the conscious mind is suppressed which allows the subconscious mind to reveal itself.

The subconscious mind is where our deep-seated instinctive behaviors and beliefs reside.  Hypnosis helps “re-program” the subconscious and thus alters the patterns of behavior.
